1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes the activities prohibited on Uploadify. It applies to every registered user, every guest uploader, and to every file or share-link hosted on the Service. The AUP is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.
2. Prohibited Content
You may not upload, store, share, distribute, or link to any content that:
- Depicts or promotes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — we report all such material to relevant authorities
- Infringes copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or any other intellectual property right that is not yours
- Contains malware, viruses, ransomware, trojans, worms, rootkits, keyloggers, or other malicious code
- Is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, harassing, hateful, or incites violence against any individual or group
- Includes non-consensual intimate imagery ("revenge porn") or content that violates a person's right to privacy
- Promotes terrorism, violent extremism, or the manufacture of weapons designed to cause mass harm
- Constitutes or facilitates fraud, phishing, identity theft, or financial scams
- Is subject to export-control restrictions in any applicable jurisdiction
3. Prohibited Activities
You may not, and may not allow others to:
- Use the Service to host the back-end of an illegal pirate streaming, torrent-tracker, or warez site
- Use the Service as the storage layer for a competing public file-hosting service without a written commercial agreement
- Exceed the quotas of your purchased plan (storage, file size, or rate of requests) through technical workarounds
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, files, or share-links
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without prior written authorization
- Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Service or its underlying infrastructure
- Resell, sublicense, or rent the Service to third parties without our written consent
- Use automated scripts to abuse the free-trial system (e.g. mass-creating disposable accounts)
- Use the Service to send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) or to host any infrastructure that supports spam delivery
4. Reporting Abuse
If you become aware of content or activity on Uploadify that violates this AUP, please report it to info@uploadify.org with:
- The full URL of the file or share link
- A short description of the violation
- For copyright complaints: the work being infringed, proof of ownership, and a sworn statement under penalty of perjury
We review all reports within one business day and act accordingly.
5. Consequences of Violation
Confirmed violations result in one or more of the following, at our sole discretion:
- Immediate removal of the offending file(s) or share-link(s)
- Suspension of the offending account, with notice to the registered email
- Permanent termination of the account, without refund, for severe or repeated violations
- Forfeiture of files associated with the terminated account
- Reporting to law-enforcement authorities where required by law
6. Cooperation with Law Enforcement
We comply with valid legal process. We will preserve and disclose user data when required by a court order, subpoena, search warrant, or equivalent instrument in a jurisdiction in which we operate.
7. Changes to this AUP
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
